Holy Creativity
August 12, 2018
Michelle Lattanzio
In this service, I'll share some of the ways in which Holy
Creativity happens in chaplaincy ministry. This is the work of Holy
Creativity in hospice chaplaincy: helping the dying to create their
final masterpiece, the living legacy of their human experience, the
true gift they will pass on to not just their family but the lives of
all people they have touched.
Michelle Lattanzio is a former intern of The UU Church of
Rockford and is currently serving as a Hospice Chaplain and Spiritual
Care Coordinator in Skokie, IL. Michelle is in Preliminary Fellowship
with the UUA and is a graduate of Meadville Lombard Theological
School. She holds a PhD in English from the University of South
Florida and taught undergraduate classes at USF. Michelle loves
spending time with her dog Axel, creating art, reading, writing,
dancing, and rooting for her favorite roller derby teams.
